Here are the Stanley Cup Playoffs clinching scenarios for April 17:

Eastern Conference

The Washington Capitals will clinch a playoff berth:
If the Toronto Maple Leafs defeat the New York Islanders in regulation (7:30 p.m. ET; SNO, MSG+, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).

Western Conference

The Minnesota Wild will clinch a playoff berth:
If they get at least one point against the San Jose Sharks (6 p.m. ET; BSN, BSWI, NBCSCA, ESPN+, NHL LIVE).
