Preds Celebrate Norris Trophy Winner, Roman Josi

The honors keep pouring in for Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi.

On Monday, Josi was named the 2020 Norris Trophy winner for the NHL's best defenseman.On Wednesday, he was given his own day and even heard from a "big fan," tennis legend Roger Federer.

The video also included appearences by a number of Josi's Predators teammates and was played at a socially-distant event at Bridgestone Arena hosted by general manager David Poile.
It was Nashville Mayor John Cooper who proclaimed September 23, 2020 "Roman Josi Day" in the city to honor the player. The Mayor tweeted a picture signing the proclamation.

Josi posted career highs in points and assists during the 2019-20 season, which was cut short due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
The veteran of nine NHL seasons, all with Nashville, established single-season franchise records for points and assists by a defenseman this past season. He is the first-ever Predators player to win the award.
