Robert Bortuzzo will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Sunday.
The St. Louis Blues defenseman is facing discipline for cross-checking Nashville Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson on Saturday. The incident occurred at 6:04 of the first period during Nashville's 4-2 win at Enterprise Center. Bortuzzo received a minor penalty for cross-checking at 6:08. Arvidsson remained in the game before leaving with a lower-body injury at 10:11 of the first. The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: cross-checking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
