In Las Vegas, the hockey has been thrilling, but it has been much more than the Golden Knights' play that has captured the attention of fans.
The Vegas-style theatrics make every Golden Knights home game at T-Mobile Arena a spectacle no one has ever seen, and in "Quest for the Stanley Cup," which follows the Golden Knights and Washington Capitals battling in the Cup Final for the most prized trophy in sports, viewers get an exclusive look at all the planning that goes into every spectacular gameday production.

The behind-the-scenes documentary series airs exclusively on ESPN+ in the United States and on YouTube.com/NHL in Canada. The seven-episode series goes on the ice, into the locker rooms, inside the minds of the players and coaches and everywhere in between to give viewers an all-access pass during the Stanley Cup Playoffs and the pursuit of the Stanley Cup -- the hardest trophy to win in professional sports.
Meanwhile in Washington, forwards Alex Ovechkin and Tom Wilson explain the emotions behind the Capitals' long-awaited Cup Final appearance, and coach Barry Trotz stresses the importance of not getting caught up in the Vegas dramatics.

At Stanley Cup Final media day, intrepid reporter and forward Ryan Reaves goes deep with his Golden Knights teammates about their fabulous hair and finds out why forward Alex Tuch calls himself the "Mayor of Las Vegas."
Though there were many light moments leading up to the Final, once the puck dropped, the laughing stopped. Microphones pick up all the tense moments between the Capitals and Golden Knights throughout Games 1 and 2.
In less than two weeks, one of these two teams will hoist the Stanley Cup, but there is still plenty of drama and action left to unfold. "Quest for the Stanley Cup" cameras are there to capture the best of what already has been a wild series.

In addition to "Quest for the Stanley Cup," ESPN+ is providing NHL fans a chance to catch up on any of the action they missed from previous games or series with on-demand replays of every NHL® game throughout the 2018 Stanley Cup® Playoffs. Games are available on demand via ESPN+ after their live airing and remain available throughout the Playoffs. ESPN+ is also the exclusive home to In the Crease, a new nightly hockey show, co-hosted by ESPN's Linda Cohn and Barry Melrose. Each night of the Playoffs, In the Crease brings viewers comprehensive highlights and analysis of each game, plus interviews with top players and coaches from around the league, ESPN.com NHL writers, and guest appearances from SportsCenter anchors Steve Levy and John Buccigross. A new episode posts each night after the action on the ice is complete for fans to watch when they want, on demand.
