There is one little issue, though. Subban is going to have some tough competition.
"Usually (Roman) Josi and (Anthony) Bitetto play. Next year I'm obviously going to have to bring my game. I'm not very good at it, so they're gonna beat me, but it's not gonna really matter if I'm on the cover," Subban said. "I've heard Ryan Ellis is pretty good at video games. Sneaky good. Nick Bonino is really good. Tony Bitetto is really good. Josi thinks he's good. He's not. But Bitetto and I would have to say Nick Bonino. Craig Smith is pretty good too."
Subban says he has an XBox portable console now, but grew up playing against his brothers, Vegas Golden Knights goalie Malcolm Subban and Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jordan Subban, on the original PlayStation.
"I always won. My brothers, I never let them win anything. I was never really good at the game but I was good enough to beat them," Subban said.
