The Dallas Stars made their first-round pick on Friday and came away with a promising forward in Ty Dellandrea, who comes to the organization from the Flint Firebirds of the Ontario Hockey League.
The 17-year-old wore Victory Green for the first time on stage at American Airlines Center, donning a Stars sweater and official Draft cap alongside Stars owner Tom Gaglardi and general manager Jim Nill.
