VGK@CHI: Kessel scores 6th goal of season

The Vegas Golden Knights and USA Women's Hockey team each needed a goal, so they both turned to the Kessel family.

Phil and Amanda Kessel scored goals within mere minutes, maybe seconds of each other on Thursday because that's just what they do.

Phil Kessel scored in the third period of the Golden Knights game against the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center. The team, which usually shares the goals instantly on social media, posted that Phil had scored.

Amanda Kessel, who was taking on Team Canada at The Dollar Loan Center in, of course, Las Vegas, scored the game's first goal. Team USA shared news of the score just two minutes after her brother's.

Here's a look at Amanda's goal that Team USA shared on social media.

Now, is it the first time they've scored on the same day? Surely it is not. Phil has 404 NHL goals after all and Amanda has 125 points (44 goals) in 112 career games with Team USA.
But within minutes and maybe even seconds of each other? Wild.
Phil and Amanda may not be twins, but they definitely had a little ESP thing happening on Thursday.
