5.3 Maroon TBL fine

NEW YORK - Tampa Bay Lightning forwards Pat Maroon and Corey Perry have been fined $2,250 and $2,500, respectively, and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Wayne Simmonds has been fined $2,250 for unsportsmanlike conduct during Game 1 of their First Round series in Toronto on Monday, May 2, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incidents occurred at 10:09 of the third period. Maroon was assessed a 10-minute misconduct; Perry was assessed a minor penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct, a pair of minor penalties for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct; and Simmonds was assessed a 10-minute misconduct.
The fine money, all the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
