The hero in Game 1 for the Rangers was Tanner Glass, who spent most of this season with Hartford of the American Hockey League before being recalled by the Rangers five weeks ago. To the surprise of many, Glass found himself in the Game 1 lineup. The fourth-line forward scored his second career Stanley Cup Playoff goal, which proved to be the game-winner.
