NEW YORK/TORONTO - The National Hockey League today announced the corporate partner starting lineup for the 2019 NHL Gaming World Championship™. In only its second year, the tournament has attracted numerous blue-chip NHL corporate partners with on-site activation plans for the Live Regional Finals and World Final. Returning partners Honda and Scotiabank will share the gaming spotlight with five newcomers: adidas, ASTRO Gaming, Brisk, Great Clips and MGM Resorts.

adidas: As the Official Outfitter of the NHL Gaming World Championship™, adidas will provide outfitting for finalists including exclusive gamer jackets and adidas caps for each Live Regional Final.
ASTRO Gaming: As the Official Controller (or Headset/Headphones) of the 2019 NHL Gaming World Championship™, endemic partner ASTRO Gaming will be supplying the official C40 TR Controller, ASTRO A40 TR Headset and MixAmp Pro TR used within gameplay across the Regional tournaments and World Final.
Brisk: BRISK will give competitors a bold and refreshing kick to the senses on-site at the Canadian Regional and World Final.
Great Clips: A North American partner, Great Clips - which also sponsored the NHL's House of Chel during the 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend - will host the Friends and Family Cheering Zone and be on-site to provide complimentary haircuts and stylings to participants and talent at the U.S. Regional and World Final.
Honda: A North American partner, Honda - which also sponsored the NHL's House of Chel during the 2019 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend - will sponsor the 'Road to the Finals' interview area, checking in with the gamers before, during and after each phase of competition across all phases of the tournament.
Scotiabank: Scotiabank returns once again as an official Canadian partner, this year hosting a dedicated Fan Vote during the Canadian Regional live stream that will award one of the competitors and a fan with a chance to serve as a guest of Scotiabank at the World Final in Las Vegas.
MGM Resorts: As the Official Resort destination of the NHL®, MGM Resorts will host the World Final at Allied Esports' HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas inside The Luxor, one of the most iconic hotels on The Strip.

EUROPEAN LIVE REGIONAL FINAL

The first Live Regional Final will take place this Saturday, May 18, in Stockholm, Sweden, beginning with The GWC Lobby at 4:30 p.m. CEST, followed by the main competition starting at 5 p.m. CEST. New this year, fans will get to watch all the regional action live on

with extensive community activation, including giveaways and promotions. Fans can follow tournament play by visiting

Will a new Gaming World Champion be crowned? Finland native and reigning champion Erik 'Eki' Tammenpää will be eager to defend his title heading into this weekend's contests. Together with 2018 finalists Paul Arontie and Hannes 'Hansulino' Kettunen, players will test their skills against GWC rookies Saku Bjarn, Christoph Eilenberger, Risto Järvi, Kristian Veijola and Joonas Virta for a coveted spot in the World Final.
The winner and runner-up at the European Regional Final will book their tickets to Las Vegas for the World Final in June, when they will have a chance to lock up their place in NHL Gaming history. Aside from securing bragging rights, the 2019 World Champion will take home $50,000 and the Championship Trophy.

REGIONAL FINAL HUT ROSTERS

Prior to each of the Regional Finals, competitors drafted their unique rosters from a pool of available Hockey Ultimate Team Items featuring NHL players. Teams consist of a 25-person HUT team with 12 forwards, six defensemen, two goaltenders and five additional skaters. Players also picked a current NHL team to represent.
