Beniers and Borgen visited Trinity Tree Farm, a local Christmas tree farm in Seattle.
Borgen immediately regretted his shoe choice, wishing he wore boots while trudging through the snow on the farm.
The roommates struggled to find a Christmas tree that was not sold at the beginning of their search.
"What if we outbid the bidder?" Beniers quipped to Borgen.
The two eventually settled on a fuller, but slightly lopsided tree which Beniers sawed as Borgen watched on.
"Yeah, what is your role? Enthusiasm?" Beniers chirped to Borgen. "Definitely not."
Borgen got stuck carrying the tree after losing a game of rock, paper and scissors.
At home, the Kraken teammates used teamwork to load the tree up with lights, ornaments and candy canes.
Beniers and Borgen will be rocking around the Christmas tree for the rest of December.
