Penguins goalie Matt Murray on ice again

Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Matt Murray was on the ice Wednesday for the first time since breaking his right hand during the World Cup of Hockey 2016.
Murray skated in full goaltending gear with goaltending coach Mike Bales and players not skating in the Penguins' preseason game against the Detroit Red Wings at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

He was unavailable for comment after practice.
Murray's injury occurred during the second period of Team North America's preliminary-round game against Team Russia.
He was expected to miss 3-6 weeks, but when Penguins general manager Jim Rutherford announced the injury timeline Sept. 24, he said Murray would be re-evaluated in 10-14 days. Ten days was Tuesday.
The 22-year-old emerged as the starting goaltender in Pittsburgh's run to the 2016 Stanley Cup. In 21 games, he was 15-6 with a 2.08 goals-against average and .923 save percentage.
Murray is expected to compete with Marc-Andre Fleury for playing time this season. Fleury will start against the Red Wings on Wednesday.
