Mark Borowiecki will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday.

The Ottawa Senators defenseman is facing discipline for elbowing Boston Bruins defenseman Urho Vaakanainen during the first period of Boston's 4-1 win at Canadian Tire Centre on Tuesday. No penalty was called on the play.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: elbowing. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
