At 6:40 of the first period in the Penguins/Maple Leafs game, Pittsburgh requested a Coach's Challenge to review whether Toronto's James van Riemsdyk was off-side prior to his goal.

After NHL Hockey Operations staff reviewed all available replays and consulted with the linesmen, the call on the ice was upheld - good goal Toronto Maple Leafs.
Since the Coach's Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the Pittsburgh Penguins forfeit their time-out.
