The Kings did not have a shot on goal the first 7:24 of the game, but took 10 shots on net in a four-minute span later in the period.
Lizotte gave Los Angeles a 1-0 lead at 14:33 of the first period on the 10th shot, deflecting in a point shot from Alex Iafallo.
Anaheim was outshot 14-5 in the opening period and has been outshot 70-21 in the first period of the past four games.
"When you're outplaying a team that hard in the first period, the tendency is to kind of stay off the gas a little bit," Kings defenseman Drew Doughty said. "That's something we need to fix."
Shattenkirk tied it 1-1 at 5:52 of the second period on a point shot.
"In the first, they had us down in our [defensive] zone and we weathered it a bit," Vatrano said. "Then we had our push."
Arvidsson made it 2-1 at 12:56 of the second period. He began the play by blocking a point shot from Ducks defenseman Simon Benoit, then got the puck back on a pass from Trevor Moore and scored on a one-timer from top of the right face-off circle that nicked off Shattenkirk's stick.
Kempe extended it to 3-1 at 17:53 on the power play, scoring on a wrist shot from the right circle. It was his eighth goal in the past four games.

McTavish cut it to 3-2 at 2:28 of the third period when he scored on a one-timer from the right circle with the man-advantage.
"Starting the third on a five-minute kill can get you out of the rhythm, but we managed to pull it off, which was good," Arvidsson said.
Kopitar made it 4-2 at 9:44 with a power-play goal on a one-timer before Vatrano cut it to 4-3 at 13:10, scoring on his own rebound.
Arvidsson's second goal made it 5-3 at 15:30, the Kings' third on the power play on their fourth man-advantage.
"They took the momentum back with the power-play goals," Gibson said.
