Paquette to have hearing with Player Safety

Lightning forward faces discipline from NHL for boarding against Bruins defenseman Krug

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Cedric Paquette will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Thursday for boarding Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug.

The incident occurred at 2:26 of the second period at TD Garden on Wednesday. Paquette received a minor penalty for boarding, and he and Bruins forward Frank Vatrano each received a minor penalty for roughing. Vatrano also received a minor penalty for tripping.
The Bruins defeated the Lightning 3-2
.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: boarding. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
