Brown to have hearing with Player Safety

Los Angeles Kings forward Dustin Brown will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Friday for crosschecking Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz.
The incident occurred at 6:41 of the third period at Staples Center on Thursday. Brown received a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct.

Schultz left the game and did not return.
The Penguins won the game 3-1.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: cross-checking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
