Jordan Martinook family

Jordan Martinook’s biggest fans knew what to do after the beep.

The Carolina Hurricanes forward’s wife and three kids left him a sweet voicemail to wish him good luck in the Stanley Cup Final.

Before Game 1, the Hurricanes posted a video of the message over footage of Martinook.

“Dad, you make us so proud. You work so hard,” one of Martinook’s kids said to start the message. “And I know you can do it.”

Martinook’s wife, Courtney, said she knew how hard the Hurricanes forward has worked for this moment and it was special to be by his side.

“Nobody deserves this more. Now go get that Cup, Marty man,” Courtney said.

Another one of Martinook’s kids ended the message by saying they loved him, he was the best and they wanted him to win the Stanley Cup.

This will be Martinook's first Stanley Cup Final appearance in his 12 NHL seasons. He is in his eighth season with Carolina.

The Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights will begin their battle for Lord Stanley at Lenonvo Center on Tuesday.
