Jonas Johansson was traded to the Ottawa Senators by the Tampa Bay Lightning for future considerations on Friday.
The 31-year-old goalie was 11-10-2 with a 3.29 goals-against average and a .884 save percentage in 25 games (23 starts) last season for Tampa Bay.
Johansson is 43-36-14 with a 3.29 GAA, .889 save percentage and four shutouts in 105 NHL games with the Lightning, Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers and Buffalo Sabres.
Goalie Leevi Merilainen was claimed by the Vancouver Canucks off waivers from the Senators on Friday.
