In a burst of cuteness on Thursday, the Islanders posted a plethora of pictures and videos to their social media accounts of players and puppies in a cross-promotion with the North Shore Animal League.
The results were predictably adorable.
The original photos surfaced on Monday, but a few back-by-popular-demand pics hit the Internet later in the week.
The Port Washington-based shelter is hoping the calendar, which will be available this holiday season, will help raise money and awareness for dogs that need good homes.
As for the Islanders players? They just love their pups.
In one Snapchat video, dogs belonging to forwards Brock Nelson and Anders Lee got out on the team's practice ice. The video caption referred to them as "line mates."
Shane Price, Calvin de Haan, John Tavares, Casey Cizikas, Cal Clutterbuck and Nikolay Kulemin were among the players who participated in the calendar shoot.
