Gritty took a tour of Philadelphia on Tuesday and even brought a friend.

The Philadelphia Flyers mascot was causing all sorts of high jinks, including getting drivers to honk their car horns as part of his day with Melvin, the mascot for Lehigh Valley of the American Hockey League.

Melvin took the short trip from Allentown, Pennsylvania, to Philadelphia to hang out with Gritty, who took a break from his busy baby-celebrating calendar to show his buddy the city. Aside from inspiring fans to honk, they also had a very-important staring contest inside a Flyers boardroom.

They also went to the legendary Philadelphia Zoo.

They even went to check out the Gritty mural outside the Triangle Tavern in South Philadelphia, though Gritty's photo didn't turn out great.
