Schmidt does dramatic reading of 'Curious George and the Puppies'

Marc-Andre Fleury said last week that of all of his Vegas Golden Knights teammates, he'd most like to be quarantined with Nate Schmidt because he'd keep the kids busy. Fleury might've been onto something.

The Vegas Golden Knights defenseman performed a reading of "Curious George and the Puppies" on Instagram for the Discovery Children's Museum in Las Vegas.

Schmidt's reading was part of the museum's At Home Discoveries, which it has been doing to occupy kids while staying home during the pandemic. He said he chose the story because "yellow is my favorite color, and Curious George is the best."
During an NHL Stars on Pause video conference call on Friday, Fleury, a father of three, gave his endorsement of Schmidt as a quarantine buddy.
"He has so much energy," Fleury said. "Like I feel he could get the kids tired all day and I could just relax a bit because he would just burn so much energy."
