NEW YORK -- Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves has been suspended for one game for an illegal check to the head of Vancouver Canucks forward Tyler Motte during Game 7 of the teams' Second Round series in Edmonton on Friday, Sept. 4, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 16:26 of the second period. Reaves was assessed a match penalty for illegal check to the head.
