Gaten Matarazzo slayed his rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" like it was a Demogorgon.

The 15-year-old actor, who is usually displaying his shadow monster-fighting skills, showed off his pipes Friday before the New York Rangers' game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Matarazzo is no novice when it comes to singing. Before the New Jersey native was hanging out with Will, Eleven, Mike and Lucas (and OK fine, Max too), he was on Broadway as Benjamin in "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," and as Gavroche in "Les Misérables."
Matarazzo didn't come away empty-handed either, leaving with a souvenir puck.
