Stars at Predators preview

The Predators have won eight in a row, tying the record they set from Oct. 5-25, 2005. Nashville is in first place in the Western Conference, four points ahead of the Vegas Golden Knights, and the Predators are six points ahead of the Winnipeg Jets for first place in the Central Division.
Predators forward Mike Fisher is expected to play his first home game this season. Fisher, who ended his retirement last week, scored a goal Friday in his season debut, a 4-3 win at the Vancouver Canucks.
The Stars will play the second game of a back-to-back set after losing 3-2 in overtime to the Ottawa Senators on Monday. Goaltender Ben Bishop left that game because of a lower-body injury, and coach Ken Hitchcock said he won't play against the Predators or on Friday against the Anaheim Ducks.

Stars forward Tyler Seguin has 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in his past six games.
Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson has two goals and five assists during a four-game point streak.
