Benn Bishop

Virtual reality got a little too real for Jamie Benn and Ben Bishop when they tried a simulation of walking the plank on a high-rise building.

It turns out the Dallas Stars forward does not do well with heights, which his goalie found all too hilarious until he gave it go himself.

The game, "Richie's Plank Experience," has a simple premise. With a VR mask over your eyes, you ride an elevator to the top, and when the doors open, you're 525 feet above a cityscape with a small board to walk out on. For added effect, you can do as the Stars did and have a wooden board to step onto.
For the record, Benn and Bishop had a pretty typical reaction. There are videos all over the internet of people getting as petrified as they did over the VR experience. For more adventurous types, there's the option to walk the plank and jump off of it, and a nightmare mode that involves a scary clown with a saw, a dentist chair, and some other stuff from your worst dreams.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Benn's and Bishop's shrieking tell us the standard version is plenty scary.
