GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Coyotes General Manager Bill Armstrong announced today that the club has signed Ryan Jankowski as the team's new Associate Director of Amateur Scouting. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

"We are excited to have Ryan join Darryl Plandowski to help lead our amateur scouting department," said Armstrong. "Ryan brings a wealth of hockey experience and knowledge to our organization and he will be a tremendous asset for us."
Jankowski joins the Coyotes following two years with the Buffalo Sabres as their Director of Amateur Scouting where he oversaw all amateur scouting and ran the team's drafts including the 2018 Draft when Buffalo selected defenseman Rasmus Dahlin first overall.
Jankowski previously spent four seasons in several roles with Hockey Canada including Head Scout and Director of Player Personnel, in which he oversaw all player evaluation and selection for Canada's national junior team as well as the team's under-18 and under-17 programs. He also performed managerial duties with Canada's under-18 team.
The Calgary, AB native possesses over 10 years of additional experience in NHL front offices. He spent three seasons with the Montreal Canadiens (2010-11 to 2012-13) as an amateur scout and was also a member of the New York Islanders organization for seven years (2003-04 to 2009-10) including four as an assistant general manager.
