The forward, who scored the game-winning goal in a 4-2 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Friday, is tied with Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche for the longest goal-scoring streak this season. Atkinson can tie Geoff Sanderson for the longest streak in Blue Jackets history, set in 2002-03, with a goal against Pittsburgh.
The Penguins, who went 4-0-0 against the Blue Jackets last season, are 1-3-2 in their past six games and 2-7-3 in their past 12.

Blue Jackets forward Pierre-Luc Dubois has nine points (four goals, five assists) in his past six games.
Penguins defenseman Jack Johnson, who played the past seven seasons for the Blue Jackets, will face his former team for the first time. Johnson, 31, signed a five-year, $16.25 million contract with the Penguins on July 1. He had 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 77 games with the Blue Jackets last season and was a healthy scratch in each of Columbus' six games in the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Korpisalo could start for Columbus after Bobrovsky made 32 saves on 34 shots on Friday. ... Hornqvist left Pittsburgh's 2-1 overtime loss to the Boston Bruins on Friday after taking a hit from defenseman Kevan Miller in the second period. Sullivan did not provide an update following the game, and said Hornqvist would be evaluated Saturday.
