Fleury may not play after colliding with Florida Panthers forward Troy Brouwer in the third period of a 4-1 win on Friday. ... The Hurricanes placed Pesce on injured reserve after the game and recalled Carrick from Charlotte of the American Hockey League. They did not have a morning skate Saturday. … Martin skated again Saturday morning but will not play. Trotz said Martin is "getting real close. We're within striking range pretty soon." Trotz also said Cizikas is doing his rehab on and off the ice. ... The Islanders recalled Fritz from Bridgeport of the AHL on Saturday and returned forward Michael Dal Colle.
