Coach's Challenge: CAR @ BUF - 1:20 of the Third Period

At 1:20 of the third period in the Hurricanes/Sabres game, Carolina requested a Coach's Challenge to review whether a Buffalo player interfered with Carolina goaltender Cam Ward prior to Jake McCabe's goal.

After reviewing all available replays and consulting with NHL Hockey Operations staff, the Referee confirmed no goaltender interference infractions occurred before the puck crossed the goal line.
Therefore the original call stands - good goal Buffalo Sabres.
Since the Coach's Challenge did not result in the original call being overturned, the Carolina Hurricanes forfeit their time-out.
