Alex Ovechkin leaps into bench to avoid penalty

Alex Ovechkin had to get off the ice in order to avoid a penalty for too-many men, so he launched himself into the Washington Capitals bench during the third period of their game against the Los Angeles Kings at Staples Center.

He didn't exactly stick the landing but he did dodge the minor infraction, so he earns a passing grade.
Ovechkin was held scoreless and had six shots on goal in the 4-2 loss.
