Tanev roasts Canucks teammates while reading starting lineups

The Vancouver Canucks came for a starting lineup reading, and a roast broke out.

Defenseman Chris Tanev didn't spare the barbs before the Canucks series-clinching Game 6 victory against the St. Louis Blues on Friday.

Defenseman Quinn Hughes "just woke up and combed his hair with a pork chop."

Forward J.T. Miller's "wife can chug a beer faster than him." Forward Bo Horvat "now has the second biggest head in the NHL." Forward Brock Boeser's "nickname is T.J., and it stands for Tuna Junior."

Goalie Jacob Markstrom's intro is the only one that didn't sound like a blatant insult or inside joke, but one never knows.

Tanev, who was the other starting defenseman, didn't have the

same energy as Miller when he took on the task

, but got plenty of laughs and rousing applause upon conclusion of the reading.
