Matt Murray sustained an upper-body injury during warmups and did not play for the Ottawa Senators in a 4-3 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on Sunday.

Senators coach D.J. Smith said that there should be an update on Murray's status before the Senators host the Vancouver Canucks on Monday (7 p.m. ET; TSN5, RDS2, SNP, NHL.TV).
Joey Daccord made 33 saves for his first NHL win after replacing Murray as the starter Sunday. Kevin Mandolese was recalled from the taxi squad on an emergency basis to back up Daccord.
Murray is 7-10-1 with a 3.84 goals-against average and .880 save percentage in 22 games in his first season with Ottawa.
Daccord, a rookie, is 1-3-0 with a 3.44 GAA and .897 save percentage in five games. Mandolese has never played an NHL game.
The Senators (10-20-1) are in last place in the Scotia North Division.
