The Bruins forced Game 7 with a 4-2 win in Game 6 at Toronto on Sunday that tied the best-of-7 series.
It will be the fifth time the teams have played a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs; Boston has won three of them, including last season (7-4 at home).
"Probably the only advantage of hosting Game 7] is home ice, but they've already won twice there," Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk said. "It's one of those things, where you try and forget the past, whether it's this series or last year's series, and understand they are going to come out with everything they've got and so are we."

The Bruins also defeated the Maple Leafs 5-4 in overtime of Game 7 in 2013 at home. Boston scored twice in the final 1:22 of the third period to tie that game.
"It's a new year," Toronto goalie Frederik Andersen said. "I don't think we need to keep doing those comparisons every time. It's not what we're focusing on. We're focusing on getting better for the next game."
Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara will play his 13th Game 7, which will tie the NHL record held by Patrick Roy and Scott Stevens. Chara has won five.
Boston is 14-12 in Game 7, including 13-8 at home.
"Nothing matters about the past," Bruins forward Brad Marchand said. "We're not going to look at anything that's happened in the past. We're going to play hard, they're going to play hard. One team is going to win, one team is going to lose."
Toronto is 12-11 in Game 7, including 5-10 on the road, where they have lost their past five. Patrick Marleau leads the Maple Leafs having played seven, all but one with the San Jose Sharks (3-4).
"It will obviously be a tough test and a great challenge, but this is a great opportunity for us," Maple Leafs forward John Tavares said. "It's been a [heck] of a series so far, and we still got a great chance to move on and got to go in there and earn a victory."
Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock is 3-6 in Game 7, including two losses in the Stanley Cup Final. He was coach of the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim when they lost 3-0 to the New Jersey Devils in 2003, and coach of the Detroit Red Wings when they lost 2-1 to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009.
"I'm not a big believer of living in the past," Babcock said. "I don't carry a lot of stuff around from the past at all. The bottom line is we've got a one-game series against these guys. ... We've got a good group that enjoys being together and plans on having a good run. In order to do that, we've got to go into Boston and win a game."
Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy won his only Game 7, against the Maple Leafs last season.
"It's our building, we're comfortable playing at home, we have to use our fans to our advantage," Bruins defenseman Torey Krug said. "I know they'll be excited and we're excited to get another crack at it."
