This week Stan returns to one of his most popular segments, "A Picture Is Worth 100 Words," featuring NHL legends Bobby Clarke of the Philadelphia Flyers and Phil Esposito of the Boston Bruins battling during the 1974 Stanley Cup Final won by Philadelphia.
The picture, taken by nationally-acclaimed photographer Dan Baliotti, originally appeared in the Baliotti-Fischler collaboration, "This Is Hockey," published by Prentice-Hall in 1975.

Phil Esposito
led the NHL with 145 points (68 goals, 77 assists) in 1973-74 and the Boston Bruins finished first in the East Division with 113 points.
Bobby Clarke
scored 87 points (35 goals, 52 assists), fifth in the League and tops on the Philadelphia Flyers, who were first in the West Division with 112 points.
The future Hockey Hall of Famers, and top centers of their day, led their respective teams to the 1974 Stanley Cup Final, when the Flyers became the first team from the 1967 NHL expansion to win the Cup, defeating the Bruins in six games.
Clarke led the Flyers with three goals and six points in the Final and played a big role defensively in helping limit Espositio to two goals (one at even strength) and three points.
