Few things will lift a person's spirits more than a stroll around the rink with Auston Matthews.

Matthews took part in the 39th annual Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids took place Sunday. He and members of the Maple Leafs joined fans and top fundraisers who raised money to support Easter Seals Ontario, an organization that provides services and programs to children with physical disabilities.

Fans who raised $150 or more were able to skate with the Maple Leafs on their practice rink at the Mastercard Centre. Those who skated could take pictures and get autographs from the players in attendance.
Besides Matthews, fellow rookies Mitch Marner and Zach Hyman and Toronto forward Nazem Kadri also took Maple Leafs fans for a tour of the rink.

The Maple Leafs have raised more than $6 million for Easter Seals in the previous 38 years of the event.
