Chychrun, the No. 16 pick in the 2016 NHL Draft, had offseason knee surgery. The Coyotes are on the second half of a back-to-back; Arizona defeated the Devils 5-0 on Saturday to end their three-game losing streak.
The Golden Knights will be without forwards David Perron (upper body) and William Carrier (upper body), who were placed on injured reserve on Thursday.
This is the fourth game this season between the Pacific Division rivals, with Vegas winning the first three.

Hjalmarsson was placed on injured reserve Saturday. ... Vegas general manager George McPhee said Fleury passed his final neuro test and could be cleared for full contact by Wednesday. He hasn't played since Oct. 13.
