Perry to play Anaheim for first time since signing with Dallas

The Game

Corey Perry will play for the Dallas Stars against the Anaheim Ducks for the first time at American Airlines Center on Thursday.

Perry signed a one-year contract with Dallas on July 1. He had 776 points (372 goals, 404 assists) in 988 games for Anaheim and won the Stanley Cup in 2007.

The Ducks have lost two straight after starting 6-2-0. 

The Stars have won two in a row after a five-game losing streak (0-4-1) and six consecutive games against the Ducks on home ice.


Players to watch

Ducks forward Jakob Silfverberg has five points (three goals, two assists) in his past four games.

Stars wing Jamie Benn has three assists in a three-game point streak.
