The Ducks, who are 4-1-0 in their past five games, are expected to have defenseman Hampus Lindholm in the lineup. He had missed the past six games with a lower-body injury.
The Hurricanes, also 4-1-0 in their past five games, will be without forward Micheal Ferland, who leads Carolina with 11 goals. He sustained a concussion during a 2-1 win against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.

Ducks goalie John Gibson, who will play in his 200th NHL game, is 3-1-1 with a 2.38 goals-against average and .928 save percentage in his past five games.
Hurricanes goalie Curtis McElhinney will try for his fifth straight win. He has a 1.25 GAA and .967 save percentage in his past four games.

Mahura was recalled from San Diego of the American Hockey League on Thursday, and Andrej Sustr was returned to San Diego. ... Goalie Scott Darling cleared waivers Friday and was assigned to Charlotte of the AHL. Forward Valentin Zykov was claimed on waivers by the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
