Miro Heiskanen, D (NHL.com rank: 63) -- The top-ranked skater on the Stars this season, Heiskanen led NHL defensemen and was third among all players with 26 points (six goals, 20 assists) in 27 postseason games, behind Tampa Bay Lightning forwards Nikita Kucherov (34 points) and Brayden Point (33). Heiskanen's ability to score close to a point-per-game in the postseason (0.96) makes him one of the more intriguing defenseman options to target around the top 75 overall.
John Klingberg, D (93) -- Klingberg scored 32 points (six goals, 26 assists) and was minus-10 in 58 regular-season games, but the defenseman's production increased in the postseason with 21 points (four goals, 17 assists) in 26 games, which likely is a better reflection of Klingberg's fantasy value this season.

31 in 31: Dallas Stars 2020-21 season preview

Anton Khudobin, G(100) -- After leading the NHL in save percentage (.930) among goalies to play at least 20 games last season, Khudobin's success carried into the postseason after he took over as the starter, going 14-10 with a .917 save percentage in 25 games (24 starts). With Ben Bishop expected to miss the start of the season because of a five month recovery period needed after knee surgery Oct. 21, fantasy owners should draft Khudobin as a safe No. 2 goalie option in the middle rounds.
Jamie Benn, C/LW(113) -- Benn scored 39 points (19 goals, 20 assists) in 69 regular-season games but had a bounce-back performance in the postseason, scoring 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 27 games. Fantasy owners should be encouraged by Benn's playoff production and target the forward around the top 100 overall with his consistent category coverage of hits and power-play goals.
Denis Gurianov, LW/RW(119) -- Following a successful rookie season, including 20 goals in 64 regular-season games and nine goals in 27 postseason games last season, Gurianov likely will see an increased role with Seguin needing five months to recover from hip surgery Nov. 2. The forward is a sneaky selection around the 120 range in standard 12-team leagues.
Ben Bishop, G (INJ.) -- Because of his knee surgery, fantasy owners should draft Bishop outside the top 75 with the expectation he won't be available when the season starts, which the NHL is targeting for Jan. 1, 2021. He was 21-16-4 with a .920 save percentage in 44 regular-season games (43 starts) last season and 1-2 with an .844 save percentage in three postseason games.
Tyler Seguin, C/RW (INJ.) -- After he scored 17 goals last season, his fewest in a full season since he scored 11 as a rookie with the Boston Bruins in 2010-11, Seguin's offensive drought continued in the postseason, when he scored two goals in 26 games. While Seguin will miss some time when the season starts while recovering from hip surgery, he remains worth drafting and stashing on IR+ until he returns.
Other players to consider in later rounds or off waiver wire: Alexander Radulov, LW/RW (104); Joe Pavelski, C/RW (184); Joel Kiviranta, RW (210); Roope Hintz, C/LW (215); Jake Oettinger, G
