Coming into Game 3, the Kraken knew they needed to meet the increased level of will that the Stars had shown in a commanding win in Game 2. With two days of rest behind them, Seattle did exactly that.

In front of a raucous home crowd, the Kraken identity was once again on display. First, there was the depth - seven different skaters each scored a goal in the game. Second, the penalty kill which was once again perfect and added a short-handed goal for their efforts. Third, Philipp Grubauer was excellent in net throughout the game.

The Kraken now take a 2-1 series lead over the Stars, but after a loss like this one, Dallas will be ready to prove that's not the team that they are. And it takes four wins total to win a series and advance. Next for the Kraken, as Dave Hakstol said: "Flip the page, move on to Game 4, and make sure that energy we had is back with us two nights from now."

Let's look at the game "by the numbers."
