Looking back at the 2022-23 season, the Kings improved in many major categories. With a number of players setting career highs in multiple offensive categories, the Kings' offense as a whole also took a big step forward. Over the 82-game season, the Kings scored need 42 more goals than the 2021-22 season, scoring 274 goals in total. Ranking 10th in the NHL this season in scoring, the Kings scored 177 even strength goals, 69 power-play goals and seven shorthanded goals. Averaging out to 3.34 goals per game this season, the Kings scored the most goals in a season in 30 years, dating back to the 1992-93 campaign. 10. Kevin Fiala @ Minnesota Wild - October 15, 2022

In his first season with his new team, Fiala found the back of the net for the first time with the Kings against his former team. This filthy shot that ended up in the back of the Wild's net encapsulated one of the many ways that Fiala was able to find the back of the net.

9. Viktor Arvidsson @ Anaheim Ducks - February 17, 2023

Arvidsson's season was impressive for multiple reasons. The Swede's uptick in goals was extremely valuable in providing depth scoring for the Kings. As a key member to the Kings second line all season, Arvidsson showed why he's been a 30-goal scorer twice in his career. With 26 goals in 77 games this past season, Arvidsson's found the net consistently with his one-timer just like this.

8. Kevin Fiala @ Carolina Hurricanes - January 31, 2023

Fiala lit the lamp with a beautiful pull and drag around Hurricanes defenseman Dylan Coghlan and beat Frederick Anderson glove side. The skilled play by Fiala comes by no surprise, but my goodness it was poetry in motion.

7. Anze Kopitar vs. Edmonton Oilers - April 23, 2023

Closing out the Kings best period of the playoffs, Kopitar netted his 24th career playoff goal in beautiful fashion. After a heads up push pass from Fiala to get the puck on Kopitar's stick, the captain went forehand to backhand and slid the puck into the net for the team's third goal of the first period of Game 4.

6. Kevin Fiala vs. Chicago Blackhawks - November 10, 2022

The Kings scored four overtime goals this regular season and no goal in the extra time came more dramatic than this one. With just 1.4 seconds remaining in overtime, Phillip Danault set up Fiala for this game-winning goal.

5. Gabriel Vilardi vs. St. Louis Blues - March 4, 2023

Vilardi's breakout season offensively saw the former first round draft pick net a career high 23 goals. Vilardi found a home near the front of the net of the on the power play and scored five goals on the man advantage. One of the those power play goals came against Blues and it was an impressive display of skilled hands in tight by #13.

4. Anze Kopitar @ Winnipeg Jets - February 28, 2023

In one of the most memorable games of the season, Kopitar put together a gem of a performance and netted four goals in the 6-5 comeback victory. Kopitar's fourth goal of the contest brought the Kings within one early in the third period. The slapshot beat Connor Hellebuyck above the blocker for his second career four-goal game.

3. Adrian Kempe @ Anaheim Ducks - April 13, 2023

In game 82 of the regular season, Kempe found the net three times. In route to his fourth career hat trick, Kempe netted his 40th goal of the season with his second goal of the game. Coming on a 5-on-3 power play, Kempe became the first King since the Kings current President, Luc Robitaille scored 44 goals in the 1993-94 season.

2. Kevin Fiala vs. Anaheim Ducks - December 20, 2022

As we saw 23 times this past season, Fiala can score and create offense in many ways. In the impressive instance, Fiala used his speed to get in on a rush, shake off two defenders and lift a backhand passed John Gibson for an incredible individual play.

1. Alex Iafallo @ Edmonton Oilers - April 17, 2023

After an Anze Kopitar game-tying goal with just 17 seconds remaining in regulation of Game 1, Iafallo, who filled in for the absent Fiala on the team's top power play made no mistake when given the opportunity to contribute. After an Oilers tripping penalty on Blake Lizotte, Iafallo finished off a beautiful tic-tac-toe sequence 9:19 into the first overtime to give the Kings a 1-0 series lead.
