We are thrilled that the State of California released updated Covid-19 guidance for indoor professional sports which allows for limited capacity at STAPLES Center for the eight remaining regular season LA Kings home games starting April 20th.  

Following this announcement, we're pleased to deliver what we feel is the best experience possible while allowing us to accommodate the most LA Kings fans in a safe and secure environment.  

Your safety is our top priority. Working with the state and our local county health officials STAPLES Center has been able to take the steps to provide a safe and secure environment for all guests. COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION

Need a test for the game? Covid Arena Testing Solutions is the most convenient COVID-19 testing location near STAPLES Center. Drive-through and walk-up rapid testing is located at Lot 4 on the NE corner of Georgia St. & Olympic Blvd. Cost per test is $45 and results are received within 10-15 minutes. Visit www.CovidATS.com where you can register, schedule your test and pay online.

  • All guests must complete a health screening that includes proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event or full COVID-19 vaccination (at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose) to enter STAPLES Center.
  • Food & Beverage only permitted in designated eating areas, not allowed in seats. Eating areas will be made available on the concourses or outside in XBox Plaza.
  • Pods will consist of 1-4 seats and will be distanced six feet from one another. Seating pods must be purchased in their entirety. 
  • The seating chart is based on requirements set by state, county, and NHL guidelines. 
  • Parking Lot W will be available to add at time of purchase, but not available for day of game sale, only advance sales. 
  • All tickets are based on availability and on a first-come first-served basis.

Ticketing FAQ's

Pod seating enables fans to buy tickets as a group (i.e., pods for 1, 2, 3 or 4) while promoting social distancing at the event. Each pod will be socially distant from other pods, allowing STAPLES Center to maintain the recommended safety guidelines. Must purchase all seats in selected pod.

Tickets will be on sale to with a wave of presales to Season Tickets Members leading to a public on sale on Friday, April 16th at 10am.

Socially distanced seating is available throughout the arena with pods being separated by a minimum of 6 feet, in keeping with state, county, and NHL guidelines. All tickets are based on availability.

Per LA County guidelines, only in-state California residents may purchase tickets for an attend indoor seated live events. Out of state residents who are fully vaccindated may also attend. Each seating pod may be made up of members from no more than 3 household units.

 

To facilitate contactless entry, all tickets will be delivered digitally via AXS Mobile ID. Fans can access their tickets through the new LA Kings App or AXS App. There will be no Will Call available. 

Yes, fans will have the ability to transfer tickets once received. However, as a reminder, each guest must present proof from a healthcare provider of one of the following: a negative Covid-19 test (within 72 hours) OR full Covid-19 vaccination (at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose).  

Yes, AXS Resale will be enabled for tickets to be resold through your AXS account. Note a pod must be sold in its entirety, for example if a fan holds a pod of 4 tickets, all 4 must be sold together and will not be able to sell just 2 of the tickets to maintain integrity of the seating pod. 

Yes, parking will be available at the time of ticket purchase. Parking in lot W will not be available for day of game sale so fans are encouraged to secure parking access in advance for easiest access. 

New Event Day FAQ's

Your health and safety remain our top priority, and we have worked closely with state and health officials to develop the strongest operating protocols with the goal of providing a safe and enjoyable experience. 
All guests must complete a health screening that includes proof from a healthcare provider of one of the following:  

  • A negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event or full COVID-19 vaccination (at least 14 days after your final vaccine dose) with an appropriate ID matching the name on their documentation. 
  • Guests 3 years of age and older require a ticket, therefore children are subject to testing requirement above (vaccines are currently administered only to 16+)

All guests are always required to wear a CDC approved face covering over their nose and mouth, except when actively eating or drinking in a designated approved area. Bandanas, scarves, and gaiters are not permitted. Children under the age of 2 are exempt, no other exemptions. We are implementing this, as well as other policies, with the goal of providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. Guests who are permitted entry to STAPLES Center, and subsequently refuse to comply with or violate our policies, will be asked to leave and their tickets will not be refunded. 

If you're feeling ill or have a known exposure to someone who currently has COVID-19, please stay home and feel better so we can see you safely at STAPLES Center soon! Contact the LA Kings Membership service team or point of sale for refund information. 

Based on recent discussions and approvals from the NBA, NHL, State of California and County of Los Angeles Health Departments and our professional sports franchises, guests attending upcoming events this season are now permitted to carry in wallets and small clutches measuring no more than 5" x 9" x 1" which are subject to security searches. STAPLES Center will continue our established policy of allowing parental and medical bags, which are required to go through an X-Ray machine for contactless screening and bags cannot exceed 14-inch x 14-inch x 6-inch. Food and beverage are available for purchase; however, guests can only eat and drink in designated socially distant eating areas. No eating or drinking allowed in the seats. Please note STAPLES Center is a fully cash-free venue that only accepts debit and credit cards, including major contactless and mobile payment methods, for a safe and speedy check out. If you do not have an accepted cashless method of payment, "Cash to Card" conversion kiosks are free of charge and located throughout the venue.
