Viktor Arvidsson (112th-overall, 2014) and Kevin Fiala (11th-overall) return to play against the team who originally drafted them. The duo, both members of the Predators 2014 NHL Draft class, played three full seasons in Nashville together from 2016-19.
The LA Kings play the first of 11 sets of back-to-back games this year. Last season in back-to-backs, LA went 9-4-3 in the first game and 9-4-3 in the second.
Phillip Danault scored his first two goals of the season, including the game-winner last night in overtime. It marked the second overtime goal of his career and the first with LA.

Predators Notes:
After sweeping the San Jose Sharks on back-to-back night's in the 2022 NHL Global Series in Prague, Czech Republic, the Predators have gone winless on American soil, dropping both of their games to the Dallas Stars by a combined score of 9-2.
This past offseason, Predators Head Coach John Hynes and his assistant coaches were extended through the 2023-24 season. Hynes took over for Peter Laviolette as the bench boss in January, 2020.
