Due to high demand Massapequa PAL's Special Needs unit launched another Spring installment of the Islanders Street Hockey program this week at Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa. Athletes braced the cold weather like true hockey players on Wednesday night as they kicked off their opener with fun shoot around games and fundamental skill drills. Player's shooting abilities were put to the test with Sparky in net. Fun was had by all and the coaches are looking forward to a great Spring season as the weather warms up!
