The New York Islanders prospects put on a show for a sold-out Northwell Health Ice Center on Thursday night, giving the hardcore Islanders fans their hockey fix on a summer night.
Team Blue won the three-team round-robin tournament, winning both of their games against Team White 4-2 and Team Blue and White 4-1. Josh Ho-Sang led Team Blue with two goals and two assists.
Team White finished second with a 1-1 record, beating Team Blue and White 2-1 in the final game of the night. Scott Eansor scored both goals in the win. See below for highlights and photos.

GAME ONE: BLUE 4, WHITE 2

Josh Ho-Sang had a goal and an assist as Team Blue beat Team White 4-2 in the first game of the night. Blue took a 3-0 lead on goals by Ho-Sang, Dalton Hunter and Ryan Hitchcock before Brett Mecrones busted Eamon McAdams shutout bid on a late first period breakaway. Micah Miller restored the three-goal lead with an empty-netter, while 2016 first-round pick Kieffer Bellows rounded out the scoring.

GAME TWO: BLUE 4, BLUE/WHITE 1

Ho-Sang opened the scoring 36 seconds into the contest, while Jack Kubiak, Zach Jordan and Hitchcock helped Blue jump out to a 4-0 lead. Parker Wotherspoon put Blue and White on the board late.

GAME THREE: WHITE 2, BLUE/WHITE 1

Game Three belonged to Scott Eansor, as the Seattle Thunderbirds co-captain scored both goals in the 2-1 win - including a spin-o-rama beauty for the game's opener. Mike Marnell made things interesting late, but that's as close as Team Blue and White came.

SKILLS COMPETITION

After the three-game tournament, the Islanders prospects morphed back into their practice groups for a three-round skills competition (shootout, hardest shot and team breakaway).

SHOOTOUT WINNER: GOALIES

After a run-and-gun three games, the goalies got their revenge in the shootout, blanking all shooters including first-round picks Josh Ho-Sang, Mathew Barzal, Anthony Beauvillier and Kieffer Bellows.

HARDEST SHOT WINNER: PETTER HANSSON

The Islanders 2015 seventh-round pick low-key cannon, as the 6'1, 187 lbs. Swede unloaded a 99mph slap shot to win the hardest shot.

TEAM BREAKAWAY WINNER: TEAM WHITE

Team White scored a late comeback in the Team Breakaway competition to end the night.
