DAL COLLE AND HO-SANG RECALLED:

With the Islanders lineup up in the air, Michael Dal Colle and Josh Ho-Sang were emergency recalls from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Tuesday morning.
Both Dal Colle and Ho-Sang are effectively here as back up, in case one or more Islanders are not able to play. Matt Martin has missed two straight games with an upper-body injury, while Cal Clutterbuck left Sunday's game after taking a puck to the ear. Casey Cizikas also briefly left Sunday's contest due to illness, but the forward was on the ice for the team's optional morning skate.
"If they get in, they've both done really well," Head Coach Barry Trotz said. "Josh has given us an element of skill, that playmaking ability, his hands, his speed and all that. When he's playing the right way, he's being productive. Same with Dal Colle. He's a guy who's gotten better and better, he's a bigger body, production wise he's done about the same as Josh."
Dal Colle was recalled for the fourth time this season and first time since being loaned on Feb. 19. Dal Colle had six points (2G, 4A) in his five games in Bridgeport between recalls. He has four points (2G, 2A) in 20 games with the Isles this season.
Ho-Sang is back with the Islanders for the first time since being loaned on Jan. 8. Ho-Sang had two points (1G, 1A) in 10 games with the Islanders this season. He has 36 points (6G, 30A) in 44 games with the Sound Tigers.

ISLES LOOKING TO GET BACK ON TRACK:

The Islanders are looking to get back into the win column after two straight losses - their first consecutive regulation defeats since early December.
On paper, it looks like a friendly matchup against the last-place Senators, but the Islanders are expecting a hungry team of players who are looking to make a name for themselves and earn NHL spots.
"We've kind of been in this spot before too," Casey Cizikas said. "It was like five years ago and we had a lot of guys called up that season and we were in the same position finishing the year. We know they are a dangerous team, they have a lot of guys who want to make a name for themselves. They've been playing hard hockey, it's going to be a good test for us."
The Senators are 2-8-0 in their last 10 games. The Sens snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Florida on Sunday.
