Josh Ho-Sang was recalled from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday, but stayed on the ice for extra work after morning skate. There was no official word on his status for Monday.
Robin Lehner was the first goalie off the ice after morning skate.

ISLES VS PENS IV:

Monday marks the fourth and final meeting between the Islanders and Penguins this season. The Islanders are 2-1-0 against the Penguins, but are looking to avenge a 6-2 loss on Thursday night in Pittsburgh.
"We gave them a little bit too much space and too much respect last game back in Pitt," Scott Mayfield said. "We definitely want to get our revenge there and bring it every shift."
One point separates the third-place Islanders and the fifth-place Penguins in the Metropolitan Division standings, adding some extra importance to Monday's affair.
"We're all excited to play this game after what happened in Pitt," Lee said. "A chance to get those two points back and rebound and build off that game in Detroit."

BACK AT THE COLISEUM:

The Islanders are back for their second game at NYCB LIVE (Nassau Coliseum) this season. The team's return was a rowdy and raucous event and the Islanders credited the crowd with helping fuel their comeback against Columbus. The hope is that home ice proves to be an advantage again on Monday.
"If that's the case that would be fantastic," Head Coach Barry Trotz said. "We are going to need those fans to be like that."
Monday will be the Penguins first visit to Nassau Coliseum since Jan. 16, 2015 - a 6-3 Islanders win.
