As the New York Islanders had an off day in Vancouver on Wednesday, Andrew Ladd doubled back to Calgary where his junior jersey was raised to the rafters by the Calgary Hitmen.
"It was a special night," Ladd told reporters on Thursday. "Knowing that you're going to have a banner in the Saddledome for a long, long time is pretty cool. And just to come back and just have the honor of being involved in that and seeing everybody again was great."
