Join the New York Islanders Reading Leaders Program

The New York Islanders are excited to launch the Islanders' Reading Leaders program developed to encourage K- 8 grade students to read more. Children will track their reading minutes online with a goal to read at least 400 minutes in any given month (13-14 minutes per day) to be recognized as a New York Islander Reading Leader and have a chance to win special Islanders prizes.
The Islanders Reading Leaders program includes easy to follow instructions to set up the kids' reading-tracker account. Kids can take it from there when they start reporting their reading minutes online. The Islanders are excited to offer this program as a part of their commitment to the community they call home.

Who can join?
- Children aged 5 - 14 (parents or teachers must sign students up)
How does it work?
- Children will submit their reading logs monthly from May 2021 through October 2021 for a chance to win prizes
- Parents and teachers can monitor and encourage student progress
What can you win?
- There will be 2 drawings every month.
- Students who read at least 400 minutes in a month will be eligible to win one of 7 New York Islanders Goody Bags!
- Students who read at least 800 minutes in a month will be eligible to win one of 7 New York Islanders Goody Bag and 1 winner will receive an autographed Islanders item!
